Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring accuracy and quality
- Interpreting and understanding technical drawings and plans
- Maintaining equipment and managing site records
- Collaborating with project managers and construction teams to deliver project milestones
- Conducting site inspections to ensure the work complies with industry standards and safety regulations
- Communicating daily progress and any encountered issues to the project management team
- Overseeing and guiding junior engineers and construction workers
- Ensuring effective utilisation of resources on-site
Job Requirements:
- Experience in setting out within the water sector
- Must have SCS induction
- Strong understanding of construction processes and site safety protocols
- Proficiency with setting out equipment such as total stations and GPS
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and plans
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
