Gallery Assistants, temp, Art Gallery East London, £13.15 per hour plus holiday pay
Popular Contemporary Art Gallery in East London requires several temporary Visitor Experience Hosts to help with an Opening and Event on Thursday 10th April from 5:00pm to 9:00pm (or possibly 10:00pm). This is a ticketed charity event and requires a flexible approach as you may be asked to serve drinks at the bars, or work on the merchandise stand.
The main duties of the Visitor Experience Host role are:
- To offer an engaging and friendly customer experience to visitors
- Welcoming visitors on entry
- Scanning tickets
- Answering visitors’ questions
- Helping to serve drinks at the bar
- Helping on the merchandise stand
- Overseeing exhibits
- Ensuring visitors have the best experience possible
The successful candidate will have a friendly and helpful nature. You will be enthusiastic about providing the best visitor experience. Previous visitor experience work within a heritage or cultural organisation is preferred as is an interest in the Arts and Design.
