Role: Branch Manager - Electrical Wholesale
Location: Clapham
Salary: 57,500 - 65,000

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and results-driven Branch Manager to oversee this busy electrical wholesale branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team, driving sales performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered, whilst also having the operational controls in place.
Electrical Wholesale experience is a must on this one, and we will be rejecting anyone that does not have that experience.
This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, strong relationship builder with customers and suppliers, industry specific sales experience and strong customer management background.
Duties
- Overseeing and managing within agreed budgets and targets.
- Day to day financial running of the branch, including stock control, debtors and all branch operational costs including employment
- Developing strategies for increasing existing business, new business and regenerating non-spending accounts
- Leading the branch team by supporting and driving the team to deliver on sales initiatives and promotions
- Motivating the branch team to deliver sales and best practice
- Giving praise and positive feedback where its due
- Holding branch meetings at least on a monthly basis including following a Branch Managers meeting to ensure all relevant information is passed to the team.
- Report to business quarterly on branch performance
- Overseeing the activities and performance of the Business Development Managers by setting and tracking individual targets
- Provide training and mentoring for the Business Development Managers
- Working with customers to understand their business needs and goals
- Attending company meetings
- Ensure the branch delivers excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Ensuring all quotations are followed up, ascertain the success or failure of them and ask the reasons why, should we have not been successful
- Ensuring effective purchasing and stock control, in line with the company stocking policy (range, depth and effect on trading figures)
- Maintaining positive working relationships with suppliers. Work closely with suppliers and make time for representatives to aid profitability
- Providing marketing information to Marketing team regarding breakfast mornings, calibration days, sponsorship etc for use in social media
Requirements
- Experience in Electrical wholesaling
- Industry-specific sales experience
- Strong leadership and customer management abilities
- The ability to lead, support and motivate people
- Excellent knowledge of a very wide range of electrical products
- Determination to succeed and a thirst for meeting targets
- The ability to build and sustain professional relationships
- Excellent organisational skills
- Very strong interpersonal skills
