Nursery Manager

Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of an excellent Nursery in Greenwich who are looking for a new Nursery Manager for their team!  This fantastic Nursery Group are seeking a new member of staff who needs to maintain strong organisation skills and attention to detail and display resourcefulness to ensure the setting has the right culture.

They are also a seeking Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner!

For this position you are required to have:

  • Early years education and care qualification to at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Experience in a leadership capacity
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally
  • Experience with nursery administration (children invoices, payroll and timesheets)
  • Competent PC user (word processing, spreadsheets, emails)
  • Experience in providing staff training

Main duties and responsibilities

·        Conducting thorough risk assessments of the nursery environment and effectively ensures that relevant Health and Safety legislation is adhered to at the setting

·        Ensuring the highest standards of childcare are delivered at the setting

·        Consistently ensuring nursery operations adhere to Learning policies and procedures

·        Conducting regular staff supervisions, and creates plans for staff development

·        Delivering high setting occupancy, promoting the setting through local marketing

·        Hiring and developing top talent

·        Demonstrating strong leadership

·        Building an effective parent engagement strategy, creating links between home and the setting.
