We are looking for a passionate and driven Retail Store Manager to join our team and lead one of our boutique locations, ensuring operational excellence, team success, and customer delight.

The Retail Store Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the shop most efficiently and effectively, delivering the highest possible standards of service through a highly trained and passionate team, whilst being pro-active maintaining and improving turnover and profitability, following Laduree UK standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient running.
  • Achieve sales and profitability targets by analysing financial reports and implementing strategies to optimise performance.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Maintain stock levels through effective inventory management and liaising with suppliers as necessary.
  • Oversee the presentation of the boutique, ensuring all displays align with Ladurées visual standards and luxury branding. Represent Ladurées brand ethos through a polished appearance, language, and behaviour that aligns with the brand's luxury positioning.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels by coordinating restocking and liaising with management on inventory needs.
  • Conduct regular stock checks, ensuring product freshness and quality through proper stock rotation.
  • Ensure the store environment remains organised, clean, and inviting, managing daily maintenance and cleanliness standards.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of retail and service staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and training sessions.
  • Develop and implement staff schedules, ensuring appropriate coverage to meet business needs.
  • Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and collaboration among team members.
  • Attend and participate in regular team meetings, ensuring alignment on new products, promotions, and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with the Head of Retail, providing updates on store activities, customer feedback, and team performance.

Customer Experience:

  • Champion Ladurée's commitment to superior customer service and luxury retail standards.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach.
  • Foster relationships with VIP and repeat customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.

Visual Merchandising:

  • Ensure the store is visually appealing and aligned with Ladurées brand identity.
  • Coordinate window displays, product placements, and promotional setups.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Submit regular reports on sales, staffing, and other key performance indicators.

Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems and retail management software.
