Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage quantity surveying and cost consultancy activities, both pre- and post-contract
  • Develop and deliver cost estimates, cost plans, and financial reports
  • Oversee the tendering process, analyze bids, and provide procurement advice
  • Attend client meetings, monitor project status, and ensure financial control from design through completion
  • Manage post-contract responsibilities, including assessing variations and negotiating final accounts
  • Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and project success
  • Mentor and manage junior team members to support the effective delivery of cost management services.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in quantity surveying or equivalent
  • MRICS accredited
  • Experience working on high-value, complex projects in a consultancy environment
  • Experience in mixed-use, workplace, retail, or commercial sectors is preferred
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, and CostX
