This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Store Manager who has experience particularly with fresh produce to work for this brand new Independent high quality, high end produce store opening in Wimbledon in the New Year!

There are a range of responsibilities focused on ensuring the store operates smoothly and meets its sales and customer service goals. This role is crucial for maintaining the high standards expected by customers of premium retailers

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Management:
  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring everything runs efficiently.
  • Maintain high standards of store presentation and cleanliness.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering and stock control.
• Customer Service:
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is provided at all times.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
  • Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Sales and Profitability:
  • Set and achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Implement promotional strategies to boost sales.
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
• Staff Management:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise store staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage store budgets.
  • Monitor financial performance and ensure profitability.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain security and loss prevention measures.
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in retail management, within Fresh produce environment preferably high end
• Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Customer Focus: Excellent customer service skills and a passion for food and retail.
• Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Financial Acumen: Good understanding of financial management and budgeting.
