Permanent, Fulltime, 40Hrs/ week, dayshift with 1/5wk on call

Salary – Up to £38k per annum + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)

8am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday with 1/5 week on call.

On call standby rate is £190 pw, call out is 4hours minimum at 1.5/2 time.

About the role

As part of the Estates team, you will provide a first-class building maintenance service to the hospital and satellite sites, covering reactive, project and scheduled maintenance work.

Duties & Responsibilities include but non-exhaustive-

To ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times to company standards.Carry out PPM’s and daily checks of allocated plant area, ensuring the area is well maintained and tidy at all times. To work on planned preventive maintenance schedules, in line with departmental goals and objectivesMaintain accurate records and documentationRespond to, and complete incoming works logged on the internal computerised maintenance management system (Engineering Central) prioritising your workload, responding quickly to emergency maintenance and reactive maintenance as requestedCarry out installation works as instructed by Estates ManagerTo assist in projects as requiredSkills and Experience:

Qualified Electrical Engineer e.g. City & Guilds or NVQ

18th Edition and Level 2 City and guilds or equivalentPrevious experience within a Hospital or similar organisationKnowledge of relevant hospital policies and proceduresHealth and Safety, COSHHLifting and HandlingGeneral knowledge of Fire regulations
