- Salary: £83 - £95 per day
- Contract: Long-Term Temporary with potential for permanent
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 3:30 pm)
Are you passionate about supporting young people with mental health challenges and emotional needs? A specialist school in Hillingdon is looking for a 1:1 Mental Health Assistant to provide personalised support to students who face emotional and behavioural difficulties.
In this role, you will work closely with students, helping them navigate daily challenges, develop emotional regulation skills, and build confidence. You'll be instrumental in ensuring that each student receives the attention they need to thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to students dealing with emotional and mental health challenges.
- Assist in implementing strategies to improve behaviour and engagement with learning.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and staff to create a positive and structured environment.
- Foster emotional resilience and encourage students to build coping strategies.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students to support their mental and emotional well-being.
