We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and skilled Complex Care Support Worker to join our team. This role involves providing care to a lovely female client with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in the Beckton area. The position is crucial for ensuring the client’s comfort and well-being and requires specific experience in complex care tasks.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist the client with stretching exercises and personal care 3-4 times per week in the afternoons from 16:30 - 18:30, working alongside another carer.
  • Manage peg feeding, perform oral suctioning, and assist with hoisting, adhering to high standards of safety and hygiene.
  • Work collaboratively with another carer to ensure continuous and comprehensive care.
  • Monitor the client’s health condition and communicate any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and participate in team meetings to discuss the client’s progress and care plan adjustments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in complex care settings, particularly with tasks such as peg feeding, oral suctioning, and hoisting.
  • Excellent teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with other carers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a gentle and respectful approach to client interaction.
  • Relevant healthcare certifications are highly desirable.
