Equipment Lead

Rate; 280 umbrella a day (223 PAYE a day)

The Royal Borough of Kingston are looking for an Equipment Lead to join their Adult Social Care Division. This is a unique role that supports a system wide approach across Health and Social Care to ensure the appropriate and cost effective prescription of assistive equipment and minor adaptations and ensuring excellence in this practice area

Responsibilities:

  • Enabling evidence-based decisions making for equipment provision
  • Joint working with acute hospital colleagues as well as a range of community health and social care professionals prescribing community equipment
  • Work in partnership with Adult Social Care commissioning leads, contracts leads, nursing leads, OT leads and providers to support the governance, training and familiarization of equipment and ensure robust standards of practice within the prescription process

Requirements

  • Outstanding communication, problem solving and reasoning skills as well as the ability to analyse and monitor performance and invoicing data
  • Extensive knowledge of community equipment and its application in support people to remain in the community
  • Experience of data systems (TCES & Google Sheets or Excel) - reporting, monitoring and prescribing
  • Experience of community equipment pathways
