Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Family Support Worker for a Local Authority Client based in North London.
In this role, you will provide direct support to families with complex needs, collaborate with multi-agency teams, and develop comprehensive plans to improve family resilience and outcomes.
About the role:
You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:
- Provide direct support and manage a caseload of families with complex needs, conducting assessments and developing tailored support plans.
- Collaborate with schools, health services, and agencies to ensure integrated and effective support for families.
- Facilitate transitions for children between mainstream schools and NRC, delivering rapid response interventions as needed.
- Monitor family progress, adapt plans, and maintain accurate records while promoting child well-being and safeguarding.
About you:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Direct support experience with families facing complex needs, including conducting assessments and creating intervention plans.
- Proven collaboration with multi-agency teams such as schools and health services.
- Experience managing caseloads in fast-paced environments and understanding SEMH challenges.
- Familiarity with safeguarding practices and facilitating educational transitions for children.
What's on offer:
Salary: £22+ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
