An exceptionally high-achieving Secondary School are looking for an Inclusion Support Assistant, to help embody their ethos of 'creating not only a school, but a community of pupils, parents and teachers brought together by their shared dedication to doing whatever it takes to achieve success'.

The perfect hard-working, resilient graduate to join their exceptional team! As a Inclusion Support Assistant, you will be working alongside pupils with complex behavioural needs who require some additional guidance from a positive and assertive role model! You will support with their everyday routine and keep them engaged and motivated to learn in the classroom. This is a full time, long-term post, commencing in September.

** This is an ideal position for a Psychology/Criminology graduate who is seeking first-hand experience before pursuing a career as a Prison Liaison Officer, Therapist, Counsellor, Youth Mentor amongst others. **

Inclusion Support Assistant - Job role:

  • Supporting children with a range of SEN to keep them engaged in the classroom
  • Encourage the development of the students' social skills
  • Work within the classroom and in smaller groups to accommodate needs
  • Support and comply with the school's safeguarding procedures
  • Full-time, long term position starting in September
  • Located in the Borough of Ealing

Inclusion Support Assistant - Candidate Specification:

  • A 2:1 or a First-class degree from a reputable University
  • Genuine interest working with SEN
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to adapt
  • Experience in a previous role, or personal experience in SEN is desirable
  • Calm and compassionate nature
