Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct one-to-one mentoring sessions, facilitate after-work activities, and organise programs during holiday periods.
  • Develop and deliver engaging workshops, activities, and residential initiatives to inspire participation and growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities and institutions, fostering trust and a positive reputation.
  • Provide line management for a small team, offering supervision, guidance, and constructive feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding protocols while maintaining accurate records for monitoring and reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement sustainable mentoring and development programs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years' experience working in a role involving mentorship, community engagement, or activity coordination in a full-time capacity.
  • Proven ability to manage safeguarding incidents and engage effectively with diverse groups.
  • Relevant qualifications at Level 3 (or equivalent) and Level 2 in English.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage teams and work independently.
  • Familiarity with local services and government policies relevant to the role.
  • A valid driving license and access to a car.
