Position: Learning Support Assistant

Job Description:

A mainstream primary school in Balham is seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to work full-time with Year 4 students, specifically supporting 4 children in the class with special educational needs (SEN). This is an immediate start opportunity, ideal for someone passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping children reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEN in Year 4.
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored activities to meet the individual needs of the children.
  • Implement strategies to support the emotional, social, and academic development of SEN pupils.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, feeding back to the class teacher and SENCO.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Requirements:
