A primary school in Lambeth is seeking four enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSA) to join their Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) provision. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with Autism and demonstrate strong behaviour management skills. This role offers a great opportunity to support primary-aged students in a structured and nurturing environment, helping them thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities for the Learning Support Assistant:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to children in the ASC provision.
- Assist the class teacher in adapting and delivering lessons suited to students with Autism.
- Support student's social, emotional, and behavioural development, ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Help manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a calm and focused atmosphere.

Requirements for the Learning Support Assistant:
- Experience: Previous experience as a learning support assistant working with students with Autism is highly desirable, ideally within an ASC provision.
- Behaviour Management: Strong behaviour management skills are essential for success in this learning support assistant role.
- DBS: Applicants must hold a valid DBS or be willing to apply for one through Reeson Education to be added to the Update Service.
