Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part-Time Learning Support Assistant to join an early years team in a vibrant school in Tooting. This long-term role requires supporting young children with special needs, including personal care.
Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to early years children with special needs.
- Assist with personal care, ensuring the children's comfort and safety.
- Implement individual education and care plans to meet each child's specific needs.
- Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to create a supportive learning environment.
- Promote positive emotional and social development.
Learning Support Assistant Requirements:
- Prior experience working with children with special needs, especially in an early years setting.
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and techniques.
- Ability to assist with personal care.
- Strong communication and empathy skills.
