Learning Support Assistant Needed - Primary School in Haringey

A primary school in Haringey is looking for a committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work with a child who has an EHCP (Education, Health, and Care Plan). The position starts in two weeks and is perfect for someone with experience supporting children with Autism (ASC), as well as a good understanding of how to implement an EHCP.

Key Responsibilities for the Learning Support Assistant:

• Learning support assistant to provide personalised one-on-one support to the child in line with their EHCP.
• Learning support assistant support the child's learning, emotional, and social development within the classroom setting.
• Learning support assistant to work closely with the class teacher to modify lessons and activities to meet the child's individual needs.
• Track and report on the child's progress, helping them meet their EHCP goals.

Requirements for the Learning Support Assistant:

• Experience working with children who have Autism (ASC).
• Familiarity with EHCPs and how to implement them effectively.
• A caring, patient, and proactive attitude towards supporting children with additional needs.
• Ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for the child.
