A vibrant primary school in Haringey is currently looking for a committed Learning Support Assistant to provide focused support to a child in their EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) class who has an EHCP (Education, Health, and Care Plan). This role is ideal for someone with experience working with young children, particularly those with Autism or other special educational needs, who is passionate about helping students succeed in a mainstream setting.

Key Responsibilities for the Learning Support Assistant:

  • Offer personalised one-to-one support for a child with an EHCP in the EYFS class.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to tailor lessons and activities to the child's individual learning needs.
  • Encourage the child's social, emotional, and behavioural development, creating a supportive and positive learning environment.
