As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with autism, assisting them in developing essential skills and reaching their potential.
To excel in this role, you should possess
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or in a comparable support role.
- Experience supporting children with diverse needs or in a similar setting such as healthcare.
- Knowledge and understanding of special educational needs.
- Patience and ability to develop good relationships with children.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive environment for every child.
- A team-oriented mindset, coupled with excellent communication skills
