Learning Support Assistant
- Location: Sloane Square, London
- Position: Year 3 Learning Support Assistant
- Type: Full-Time (Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
- Salary: 90 - 97 per day
- Start Date: ASAP
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? A small, voluntary-aided primary school in the heart of Sloane Square, proudly rated as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work 1-1 with a wonderful Year 3 student who has autism and global delay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to the child to enhance their learning and social skills.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
- Foster a positive and nurturing environment to encourage the child's development.
- Monitor and record progress, communicating regularly with parents and staff.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly autism and global delay. (MANDATORY)
- A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications in education or child development are advantageous.
