Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children in Primary and Early Years settings?

Horizon Teachers are working with mainstream Primary school based in Wandsworth, supporting in their search for an experienced and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their team.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support children in and out of the classroom throughout the full school day. The school are looking for someone who is hard-working and happy to get stuck in. The school are also looking for someone who can be flexible and work across a range of year groups, supporting where necessary.

What do the school require from you?
  • Experience working in a Nursery, Primary or Secondary school.
  • A willingness to learn about SEND and support children on a 1:1 basis when necessary.
  • Confidence in your ability to remain calm under pressure and use your initiative.
  • Show patience, empathy, and a proactive mindset to any situation.
  • Have knowledge of relevant safeguarding policies and procedures.
