The successful candidate will support students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they have access to the curriculum and opportunities for academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with learning difficulties.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Support classroom teachers with differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching strategies.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a learning support role.
- Strong understanding of various learning difficulties and support strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other support staff.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
- Relevant qualifications in education or a related field are preferred.
