Learning Support Assistant (Mitcham)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at our outstanding partner school in Merton. The successful candidate will provide vital support to students with special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential academically and socially.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
  • Support individual or small groups of students in accessing the curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior support.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and other staff members to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Participate in relevant training and development opportunities.

Requirements:
