We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Outreach Recovery Worker to join a dedicated team in Westminster. This role involves providing support and guidance to individuals experiencing substance misuse issues, helping them on their path to recovery and integration into the community.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, offering empathetic and non-judgmental support.
  • Conducting initial assessments to understand clients' needs, strengths, and challenges.
  • Developing and implementing individualised recovery plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on achievable goals.
  • Facilitating access to appropriate services and resources, such as healthcare, housing, and employment support.
  • Conducting regular outreach activities to identify and engage with individuals in need of support.
  • Advocating for clients' rights and needs within various systems, including healthcare and social services.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes.
  • Preparing reports and case studies as required, contributing to service evaluation and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a similar role, particularly with individuals experiencing substance misuse issues.
  • Strong understanding of recovery principles and harm reduction strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in outreach work and community engagement.
