As a Recovery Worker, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality support to individuals facing mental health challenges and substance misuse. This role includes working in both community and residential environments to encourage recovery and foster independence.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing one-to-one and group support sessions.
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing individualised recovery plans.
  • Supporting clients in developing coping strategies and skills for daily living.
  • Assisting clients in accessing appropriate services and community resources.
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs.
  • Collaborating with clients to identify goals and develop action plans.
  • Regularly reviewing and updating recovery plans based on clients’ progress.
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities.
  • Attending regular supervision and team meetings.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with mental health issues and/or substance misuse.
  • Strong understanding of recovery principles and person-centred care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
