SEMH Support Assistant | Job Summary
- Full-time term time only SEMH Support Assistant role | Long term contract until July 2025
- Work alongside qualified SEND professionals & Specialist Teachers
- Role paying £400-£500 per week | Paid weekly on PAYE basis
- First-Class or 2:1 Psychology degree from a Top 20 UK University
- Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable
- Inhouse and external training to further develop your skill set
SEMH Support Assistant | Job Role
- Support small groups of students and on a 1:1 to help students build confidence, develop coping strategies, and improve their behaviour.
- Support students in developing their emotional regulation and social skills
- Assisting with sensory and behaviour management strategies to create a calm and structured learning environment.
- Work closely with students with SEMH needs, providing tailored support to meet their individual requirements.Â
