As a Senior Nurse, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading a specific part of the care home and ensuring the highest level of care.
  • Managing the home in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager.
  • Reporting on residents' health issues and ensuring their dignity and wellbeing.
  • Administering medication and monitoring residents' health.
  • Mentoring and supporting colleagues and students.
  • Advocating for a person-centred approach to care.
  • Recognising and reporting signs of abuse, harm, or neglect.

The ideal Senior Nurse will:

  • Be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
