Support Worker - Disability Team

Location: Islington

Working arrangements: 4 month contract

Rate: up to £22.76

Hours: Full time 35

Spencer Clarke Group are working with a local authority to recruit a Support Worker within the Disability team

This 4-month contract requires you to provide support to service users with a range of needs, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered care and support to service users
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and mobility
  • Follow care plans and risk assessments, ensuring all procedures are adhered to
  • Engage in regular communication with service users and their families, ensuring that their preferences and needs are respected.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a care or support role
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures, how to promote the dignity of service users, and infection control practices.
