Spencer Clarke Group are working with a local authority to recruit a Support Worker within the Disability team
This 4-month contract requires you to provide support to service users with a range of needs, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered care and support to service users
- Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and mobility
- Follow care plans and risk assessments, ensuring all procedures are adhered to
- Engage in regular communication with service users and their families, ensuring that their preferences and needs are respected.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care or support role
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures, how to promote the dignity of service users, and infection control practices.
