Milk Education have partnered with a specialist all through school in Greenwich, who are looking to appoint a CREATIVE, RELIABLE and RESLIANT individual to support students at their school. This long term role offers a great opportunity for progression, development and a sense of achievement. Students who attend this school have various backgrounds, and are all on EHCPS. Do you want to work in a challenging, yet rewarding role? Are you available full time and to start after Christmas?
Do you have experience of SEMH, Trauma and Challenging behaviour? Are you confident in building relationships, de-escalating and preventing challenging behaviour or supporting those who sturggle to regulate their emotions?

Your role & responsibilities as a Youth Worker:
- Work closely with teachers, school staff, and parents to implement behaviour support plans.
- De-escalator, Prevent and Support students in regulating emotions
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with behavioural needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the school setting.
Non-negotiables as a Youth Worker:
- Proven experience working with children
- A minimum of 6 months UK based experience
- Good understanding of SEMH
- Resilient, Reliable and Engaging Individual
