Your Responsibilities as a Behaviour Mentor:- Support Pupils 1:1 and in Small Groups: Work with children to improve behaviour, develop social skills, and build confidence.
- Implement Behaviour Plans: Support teachers in applying consistent and effective behaviour strategies.
- Promote Emotional Well-Being: Help pupils understand their emotions and develop strategies for self-regulation.
- Be a Positive Role Model: Inspire children to make positive choices and take responsibility for their actions.
- Collaborate with Staff and Parents: Maintain open communication with teachers, SENCOs, and families to ensure consistent support for pupils.
- Experience Working with Behavioural Needs: Previous experience supporting children with challenging behaviour in a school or youth setting.
- Empathy and Understanding: A caring and non-judgemental approach to supporting pupils.
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to adapt strategies to meet the individual needs of each child.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Confidence in engaging with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Commitment to Inclusion: A belief in helping every child achieve their potential.
- Daily Pay: £80-£100 per day, depending on experience.
