Rate:                   £28,000 to £30,300 inc London Weighting

Hours:             37.5 hours per week 4 days from home (covering Havering and EalingOR Bromley, Croydon and Sutton) planning travel from home to meet clients. I day in office at Willesden Junction

Our client, a specialist Domestic Violence charity, is looking to recruit a Men and Masculinities – Violence Prevention Practitioner to deliver their specialist intervention, Men and Masculinities Programme, in London.

Men and Masculinities is a behavioural change programme for those who perpetrate abusive behaviours in their relationships.

Synopsis of duties:

  • Working as part of the London domestic abuse service, alongside colleagues supporting victim/survivors, children and young people affected by domestic abuse
  • Delivering a 24-week group programme to perpetrators of domestic abuse
  • Offer effective behaviour change interventions to perpetrators
  • Work with communities and professionals to raise awareness, and challenge attitudes that allow domestic abuse to continue.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience of working within Domestic Abuse or a similar related area and would like to develop your transferrable skills.
  • Experience of working on behaviour change programmes, delivering groups in comparable settings such as mental health, and understanding multi-agency working, would be advantageous.
