Group Manager – Supported Housing 45–52k depending on experience.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a leader with extensive experience in delivering high quality supported housing services to join our team at Dinardo Care & Support Ltd.

Dinardo Care and Support – support people to support themselves. We are an exempt supported housing provider who specialise in high standard accommodation and living services for vulnerable adults suffering from mental health conditions and other complex needs. We believe the success of Dinardo Care and Supports is based on our dynamic, innovative, and pro-active approach to delivering high quality services, and our constant review of those services to maintain and improve the services that we provide.

Due to ongoing expansion, we have an exciting opportunity to extend our existing operations, in Croydon, Lewisham and Southwark.

About the role:

As the Area Operations Manager you would provide a crucial role in both building and expanding the service and a focused team who align with Dinardo’s vision and values. In addition to this, you would be responsible for fostering direct relationships with Southwark Commissioners and other referral partners/pathways and looking for new business opportunities.

About you:

·        Extensive experience in managing the operations for one or more supported housing services.

·        A degree or equivalent (desirable but not essential)

·        Excellent communication and written skills – able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

·        Able to manage competing priorities to ensure both organisational and resident-focussed outcomes.

·        Understanding and experience surrounding legislation in respect of housing, rough sleeping strategies, the Mental Health Act, etc.

·        Excellent knowledge of safeguarding procedures.

·        Knowledge of support planning and risk assessing residents’ needs.

·       Good problem solving and conflict management skills in a high-pressure environment.

·        Experience in leading and mentoring proactive and successful teams including ongoing development, appraisals, supervisions, disciplinaries and grievances.

·        A passion for delivering person-centred holistic support.

·        Intermediate IT skills MS Office 365 and a working knowledge of In-Form would be desirable.
