About the Role:

We are seeking a Housing Allocations Officer to manage the allocation of new build properties as part of the Aylesbury regeneration scheme. You will work closely with various teams to ensure the efficient marketing and allocation of homes, using Northgate systems to manage data, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer the Council's local Lettings Policy and coordinate property marketing and allocations.
  • Use Northgate to run reports and maintain accurate data for eligibility and bidding cycles.
  • Prepare reports, respond to queries, and liaise with residents, project officers, and other teams.
  • Ensure properties are allocated on time and in line with policy.
Requirements:
  • Experience in housing administration and allocation procedures.
  • Knowledge of Northgate systems (desirable).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and manage deadlines effectively.
Desirable:
  • Experience in a large local authority setting.
  • Awareness of housing legislation and tenancy matters.
