Interim Housing Policy Officer
Location: London, hybrid with 2 days per week onsite
Length: 3 months initially

One of our local authority clients is looking to recruit an Interim Housing Policy Officer, who will work on the development and delivery of the key strategic elements of their housing strategy, and local policy across housing management.
The key components of the Interim Housing Policy Officer include:
- Supporting the Housing Strategy Manager to solidify the foundations of their housing management team to deliver better services
- Writing sound policies and procedure guidance on topics such as void processes, successions and assignments, antisocial behaviour and vulnerable tenants
- Working directly with the delivery teams across various departments as well as senior managers and councillors to ensure a collaborative approach
Experience and skills required of the Interim Housing Policy Officer:
- Previous experience as a housing policy officer within a local authority or housing association
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Ability to hit the ground running and build credible relationships from the outset with various departments
