This South London Authority are looking for a Housing Reviews Officer. Details of the role are:
Responsible for fulfilling the council’s statutory function under s202 Housing Act 1996 Part VII i.e. reviewing negative homelessness decisions and suitability of offers when requested by applicants/their representatives.
To apply for this role you must have:
- Statutory Housing Act decisions in accordance with s202 and related guidance and caselaw; recommendations in regard to associated legal action.
- Be of a high level of investigative skills to undertake in-depth enquiries into homelessness decisions and legal challenges to those decisions
- Be eligible to work within the UK
