Hyde is looking to recruit a Housing Team Leader to work on the PFI contract with Islington Council that it is part of.

As a Housing Team Leader at Hyde you will be working within the Resident Services department to oversee the effective operational management of housing services that have been outsourced by a third party, ensuring that all operational aspects are delivered as per the contract specification

Responsibilities

  • Managing a team of 7 staff providing the housing management service - but not including rent and service charge collection - to the residents of the Islington PFI contract.
  • Acting as a point of contact for key stakeholders including the local authority and other sub-contractors.
  • Ensuring a a proactive, inclusive, customer- focused efficient service is delivered to all customers
  • Acting as Hyde’s expert in managing the Islington PFI housing management service, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, service standards, and performance targets.
  • Maintaining positive tenant relationships, addressing concerns, resolving disputes, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Overseeing tenancy management functions, including all locations, renewals, and terminations, ensuring compliance with tenancy agreements and legal requirements.

Skills and experience required

  • Previous experience in housing.
  • Previous experience of leading a team is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
