Neighbourhood Manager

Are you passionate about creating a community where everyone has access to a safe and warm home? Do you believe in proactive problem-solving and making a real difference in the lives of residents? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to lead a team of officers in delivering person-centred housing income services.

In this role, you will manage the income collection for a diverse housing portfolio, ensuring early intervention and prevention of arrears. You will be responsible for overseeing legal processes, including preparing documents, attending court hearings, and executing warrants when necessary. Responding to customer inquiries and addressing complaints, you'll identify opportunities to enhance the service and prevent issues from escalating.

Your key responsibility will be making important financial decisions, balancing enforcement with empathy, and negotiating repayment options in line with policy. You will also be accountable for maximizing income collection while managing conflicting priorities and deadlines. Your leadership will ensure your team meets its targets while fostering positive relationships with residents, always aiming for the best possible outcomes.
