Practice Manager, £40ph, Learning Disabilities, LondonPertemps are recruiting a dedicated Practitioner Manager to join the Adult Learning Disabilities Team in Lambeth. This role is ideal for a qualified social worker with significant post-qualifying and supervisory experience, ready to lead and support a team of Social Workers and Assessors in providing top-quality care and assessments for adults with learning disabilities.Role Overview:As a Practitioner Manager, the postholder will supervise up to eight Social Workers/Assessors, ensuring statutory assessments and reviews are completed on time and to quality standards. They will also participate in the Community Duty rota, playing a key role in managing day-to-day service operations. A commitment to anti-discriminatory practices and council policy is essential, as is the drive to support a positive, inclusive work environment.Requirements:
  • Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Significant post-qualifying experience in social work, ideally within adult services.
  • Experience of supervising, practice teaching or mentoring staff
  • Strong commitment to promoting equality and supporting council policies.
