We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity to join one of the largest housing providers in London as a Regional Director of Housing. This pivotal role covers the North London region, where you will be instrumental in leading and influencing housing operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Main Purpose of the Role:

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of strategic plans.
  • Act as a figurehead for the region, providing leadership, support, and direction to ensure the achievement of regional and group objectives.
  • Enhance neighbourhood management and repairs services through excellent regional coordination.
  • Collaborate with the regional development team to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Influence investment and asset management strategies to optimize the use of housing stock, including strategic disposals where beneficial.
  • Serve as the primary contact for key stakeholders, ensuring comprehensive service delivery across all areas.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Embed and deliver corporate objectives in collaboration with colleagues across the business.
  • Manage the region’s budget and lead the delivery of the regional business plan.
  • Inspire, lead, and motivate teams, ensuring performance aligns with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, ensuring the organisation's vision is clearly communicated and understood.
  • Ensure effective resident involvement and that the region’s voice is heard and acted upon.
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to ensure optimal investment in housing stock and the delivery of high-quality maintenance services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in a senior or regional director role within a Housing Association.
  • Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary services and delivering high-quality neighbourhood management, customer satisfaction, and repairs services across a large region.
  • Strong experience in governance, business planning, and budget management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage resident involvement teams and achieve high resident satisfaction.
  • Experience in leading significant change projects and managing complex case loads.
  • In-depth knowledge of the social housing environment, including regulatory and government policies.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build robust relationships with external stakeholders.
