Responsibilities:As a Resident Service Officer, you will:
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents across various housing tenures
- maximise income collection and debt recovery while ensuring a customer-focused approach
- Enforce tenancy or lease terms, coordinating necessary actions, including court proceedings
- Support vulnerable residents in sustaining their tenancies
- Manage and resolve inquiries and complaints efficiently
- utilise digital tools to enhance service delivery and accessibility
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Demonstrable understanding of multi-tenure housing management
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a resident services environment
- Specialist knowledge in income collection, debt recovery, or tenancy management
- Strong communication skills with a customer-centric mindset
- Familiarity with relevant legislation and court proceedings
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Experience in leasehold management or Right to Buy processes
- Knowledge of welfare regulations and support systems
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
Technologies:
- Proficient in using IT systems for record-keeping and monitoring
- Comfortable with digital communication platforms
