We are seeking a Safer Communities Operations Manager for an immediate start in an ongoing temporary position within a local authority in SE London. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in managing anti-social behaviour (ASB) and statutory nuisance, including the development of relevant policies and procedures.
Day-to-day of the role:- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to ASB and statutory nuisance.
- Utilise in-depth knowledge of legislation and statutory requirements to operationalise and enforce regulations effectively.
- Performance manage staff, utilising HR processes to manage and enhance staff performance.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and effective management of community safety issues.
- Lead and guide a team in strategic planning and execution of duties related to safer community operations.
- Extensive experience in anti-social behaviour and statutory nuisance management.
- Proven ability to write and implement ASB and statutory nuisance policies and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory requirements.
- Experience in performance managing staff, including the use of HR processes for performance management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
