ServiceNow Consultant – 3 months – London

My customer is seeking a skilled and motivated ServiceNow Consultant to join their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, integrating, and administering the ServiceNow platform to support their IT Service Management (ITSM) and process automation goals. Your expertise will ensure the platform operates perfectly in tune with the business, delivering efficient services and optimised processes for their organisation.

This role is ideally starting in 2024 but for the right person, it can start in January 2025.

Key responsibilities for the ServiceNow Consultant:

  • Configuration & Customisation: Configure and customise ServiceNow modules to meet the ITSM and business process requirements.
  • Platform Administration: Manage the day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform, including user roles, permissions, and performance optimisation.
  • Technical administration: Have strong technical skills in order to administer tweaks and changes to the Platform in order to support the ITSM, CMDB, problem and change management goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders and users across the business to understand their needs and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions that work for the business.
  • Integration: Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems to streamline workflows and enhance data sharing.
  • Process Improvement: Analyse, configure, and implement process automation and service delivery improvements using ServiceNow.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve platform-related issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Continuous Enhancement: Identify opportunities to enhance the platform to better support evolving business needs.
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow modules (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Asset Management).
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and ITSM best practices.

The successful ServiceNow Consultant is required to travel to London 3 days a week and working 2 days remote.
