Full time hours on a temporary basis

Purpose:Are you driven by a desire to make a positive impact in your community? As a Sheltered Housing Manager, you'll lead a committed team to deliver and enhance our housing management services. Your role will be pivotal in supporting residents to maintain their tenancies and access essential services, ensuring they live in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Development:

  • Motivate and guide a proactive team, fostering a culture of excellence and engagement.
  • Ensure our sheltered housing schemes are secure, clean, and well-maintained through regular monitoring and inspections.

Resident Support and Engagement:

  • Efficiently manage vacant properties, ensuring timely repairs and smooth transitions for new residents.
  • Minimize revenue loss by effectively managing rent arrears and promoting financial inclusion.
  • Organize and promote engaging social activities to enhance residents' quality of life.

Operational Excellence:

  • Develop and adhere to comprehensive service level agreements, policies, and procedures related to health, safety, and welfare.
  • Implement strategies for resident involvement, ensuring their feedback shapes our services.
  • Maintain strong relationships with support and care providers, ensuring seamless responses to emergencies.

Financial Management:

  • Lead budget planning, control expenditure, and identify opportunities to improve value for money.
  • Provide data to demonstrate performance against key performance indicators, driving continuous improvement.
