Overview of the roleTo ensure the delivery of an enhanced housing management service which continually improves the quality of life of and satisfaction with services for older and vulnerable residents and maximizes the opportunity to co-ordinate and work with key partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Effectively manage the team to deliver and improve a comprehensive housing management service that helps residents maintain their tenancy and access support services.
  • Lead by example to build a motivated and engaged team that provides excellent service.
  • Systematically monitor and inspect sheltered housing schemes to ensure secure, clean, and well-maintained communal areas.
  • Ensure vacant properties are promptly repaired, let within required timescales, and that new tenants are resettled efficiently, reducing revenue loss and improving satisfaction.
  • Minimise revenue loss by managing rent arrears effectively and promoting access to financial assistance to enhance residents' financial inclusion.
