- Lead a team delivering services to refugees, migrants, and asylum seekers, ensuring trauma-informed and anti-racist practices.
- Oversee the delivery of the Welcome Hub, coordinating weekly drop-in services for migrants and asylum seekers.
- Support residents with housing needs, including preventing homelessness and linking them to housing advice.
- Lead safeguarding responses and coordinate with internal and external safeguarding teams.
- Manage caseloads and ensure timely interventions for complex cases.
- Provide line management for support workers, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders, both internal and external, to improve outcomes for residents.
- Ensure effective record-keeping and GDPR compliance.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
- Experience working with refugees, migrants, or asylum seekers, particularly in homelessness prevention.
- Line and team management experience, with a focus on motivation and empowering staff.
- Knowledge of welfare systems, housing legislation, safeguarding, and co-production.
- Ability to foster a learning culture and ensure high team performance.
