The Role

As Team Manager - Adult Safeguarding, you will:

  • Lead a team of social workers, ensuring high-quality assessment, care management, and safeguarding.

  • Ensure compliance with the Care Act 2014 and best practices.

  • Supervise and develop staff, ensuring high performance and professional standards.

  • Manage workloads, budgets, and care planning.

  • Work with health professionals, police, and voluntary organisations.

  • Promote strengths-based practice and cost-effective care solutions.

  • Lead safeguarding investigations and complex decision-making.

  • Contribute to service development and policy implementation.

About You

We are seeking a leader who:

  • Is a qualified social worker (SWE registered) with adult safeguarding experience.

  • Has expert knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and safeguarding policies.

  • Demonstrates strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Has experience in budget management, team development, and service improvements.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment and can manage complex cases.

  • Is committed to safeguarding and delivering outstanding care.

  • Is proficient in IT systems and understands Health & Safety, Data Protection, and Equal Opportunities policies.
