About the Role

We are seeking a Team Manager to lead our Adult Assessment Team, overseeing social workers and practitioners to ensure the highest standards of assessment, care planning, and service delivery. This role is critical in promoting independence and improving outcomes for adults in Haringey who require care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a team of social workers and care practitioners, ensuring effective service delivery.

  • Oversee assessments, care management, and reviews in line with statutory responsibilities and best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and safeguarding frameworks.

  • Manage resources and budgets efficiently to deliver cost-effective, high-quality care.

  • Drive service improvements and contribute to policy development.

  • Develop strong multi-agency partnerships to enhance service provision.

About You

We are looking for an experienced leader with:

  • A Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration.

  • Significant experience in adult social care assessments, care planning, and risk management.

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with experience managing a team.

  • A proactive, person-centred approach to service delivery.

  • Excellent communication and partnership skills, with experience in multi-agency working.
