Randstad is recruiting for a Team Manager for Social Workers to join the Havering Council for Children in the Safeguarding Team. This full-time contract role has a fantastic pay rate of £44.50 per hour and offers flexible working schedules.

About the Role:Havering is recruiting experienced social workers for roles in our New Safeguarding Teams. These teams will focus on:- Children in need casework (CIN) - Children and families (domestic abuse)- Child protection (CP)

Key focus: As a Team manager within the Safeguarding, you will be required to: 1. Ability to manage a caseload of complex and challenging cases 2. Capability to support the Group manager in maintaining and developing high standards across the team 3. Represent the service in developing key service provision or strategy initiatives 4. Provide coaching and mentoring within the team as well as effective case management and high-quality written work

Requirements:- Social Work England (SWE) registration.- Minimum 2 years + working experience (social worker with children and families, including assessments and statutory work).- Enhanced DBS- Social Work Degree or equivalent

Experience:- Experience in care proceedings and or Children Looked After
