Are you a passionate and experienced Team Manager looking to make a real difference in the lives of disabled children and their families?
Wandsworth Council's Supporting Disabled Children Service is seeking two Team Managers to lead a dedicated team providing high-quality support to children and young people with disabilities. You will work closely with our Transitions Team, Preparing for Adulthood Service, in-house short break providers, health and education professionals, and voluntary sector partners to deliver outstanding support to children and their families.

The RoleAs a Team Manager, you will:? Lead and develop a team of social workers, ensuring high-quality, person-centred practice.? Champion anti-racist and anti-oppressive practices, ensuring equity and inclusion for all children and families.? Allocate and oversee cases, monitor performance, and provide professional supervision.? Support and drive service improvements, ensuring families receive the best possible outcomes.? Work in partnership with health, education, and voluntary sector organisations to deliver a holistic approach to support.
About You? Social Work England-registered social worker with a completed ASYE.? Proven leadership and management experience in children's social care.? Strong knowledge of legislation, policy, and best practice related to children and families with disabilities.? Passionate about improving services and championing best practices for disabled children.? A strong team player who can work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to drive service improvements.
